Terms & Conditions

How our website, advertised services, project quotes, external providers and intellectual property are handled.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Simple, transparent terms help set expectations. Project scope, delivery milestones, maintenance, payment and rights should always be confirmed in a specific written quotation or agreement before work begins.

01 / About these terms

These website terms apply to your use of zylano.com and describe the general approach to our advertised services. They do not replace a signed agreement, a written quotation or an invoice. Where a project has its own agreed specification or terms, those terms take priority to the extent lawful.

ZYLANO LTD (company number 14059438) is located at 409 Kitson House, East Station Road, Fletton Quays, Peterborough, PE2 8UD, United Kingdom. Questions: group@zylano.com.

02 / Services and advertised prices

Our website describes services such as web design, scoped iOS development, business work platforms, promotional videos, business information and van transport. Published prices are illustrative for the stated scope: £249 + VAT for a defined simple one-page website; £499 + VAT for a defined simple iOS app; and work platforms from £99/month + VAT with custom setup separately quoted. Hosting, domain registration, app-store accounts, payment-provider fees, maintenance, additional features and third-party subscriptions are not included unless expressly listed in the written quote.

The transport indication of £1.40 per billable mile + VAT and a minimum of 300 billable miles per day is subject to an individually agreed quotation, availability, location, delivery constraints and any specified extras.

Availability, prices and service packages may change before a quote is accepted. A displayed service price does not automatically create a contract or include features outside the published scope.

03 / Quotes, milestones and payment

Before a bespoke project starts, we aim to confirm scope, deliverables, a schedule, revision allowances, price and any deposit or milestone payments in writing. Changes outside the agreed scope may require a revised quotation. VAT will be shown separately on relevant invoices.

Work starts only once the parties agree how the project will be delivered and paid for. Additional third-party costs should be disclosed and agreed before they are incurred on your behalf.

04 / What we need from you

Customers are responsible for supplying timely, accurate requirements and materials they are authorised to use, including logos, brand assets, text and images. If access to hosting, App Store Connect, Stripe or another service is needed, the method and permissions should be agreed in advance. Customers must ensure their own products, advertising, content and processing activities comply with applicable laws.

Project dates may need revision when feedback, approval, assets or third-party actions are delayed.

05 / Design, testing and delivery

We test work against the written scope and agreed browser, device or platform requirements. App Store acceptance, payment-provider approval, third-party API availability, Google/Meta service performance and search-engine rankings are controlled by those providers and cannot be guaranteed.

Websites are designed with proportionate security measures, but no internet service can truthfully be promised to be immune to every threat, malicious attack or downtime. Ongoing updates, backups, monitoring and operational security remain important and may require separate maintenance arrangements.

06 / Content and intellectual property

Customer-provided materials remain subject to their existing intellectual-property rights. Rights in new bespoke work, source files, third-party code, licences, open-source components, fonts and stock assets will be dealt with in the applicable written agreement. Use of a third-party service remains subject to that provider's licence.

Examples in our public portfolio are shown to illustrate completed work. Unauthorised copying, republication or misleading reuse is not permitted.

07 / Hosting, support and cancellation

Domain, hosting, support, platform hosting and recurring fees apply only where agreed. Written agreements should specify the service period, renewal, support coverage, security maintenance, termination and any applicable data-export arrangements. For consumer customers, nothing in these terms removes rights arising under applicable consumer law. Any cancellation rights, statutory remedies and refund entitlements will be respected where applicable.

08 / Use of this website

Information on this website is provided in good faith and may be updated without notice. Links to third parties and embedded services are provided for convenience and governed by their own terms. We aim to maintain reasonable accuracy but do not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of this marketing website or every external link.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Any project-specific limitations must be set out separately and remain subject to applicable law.
